I remember in the early 80s when my grandfather came home with about 4 electric pest repellers, they were as big as 
toaster. My grandfather was always getting the latest electric gadgets & I bet he would be thrilled to know these are now small enough to be held in your hand. I have been wanting 1 of these, mainly because mice keep moving into my stove, the cats can catch them anywhere else. So I plugged this into the outlet right by my stove as soon as it arrived. I have to admit within hours the cats were catching mice that were leaving that area, &^boy there were more living in my stove than I realized. I really like I can push them away without chemicals.
For a little over a week it worked great, then it just was not working as well anymore. It was still on I do not think the unit stopped working as well, I think the mice somehow became immune because they started moving back into my stove. So I moved the repeller to my bedroom with same reaction, mice fled & the cats caught them for around a week then the mice came back. I do find this odd but thats what happened. So now I just move it about every few days hoping that helps, so far so good.
