Review: MeasuPro IRT20 Temperature Gun Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer with Laser Targeting

The MeasuPro handheld infrared thermometer takes accurate readings using advanced laser technology to aim in various places with no direct contact necessary.

This product is FDA and FCC approved and RoHS compliant. It measures a range of -50 to 380°C (-58 to 716°F). The response time of 500ms guarantees an immediate reading. The no-sweat rubber oil finish makes it comfortable while using. It also features a low battery indicator.

Using this thermometer gives you the ability to measure moving targets or very hot surfaces.

This is a great too to have around, it seems to be very accurate & it gets the temp fast too. Turn the laser on & move it around the room & see the different temperatures, outside use it to detect hot surfaces such as slides in the hot sun. IIMG_3457 am not a on the job type person but my husband also explained how you can use it in his line of work (metal fabricator) & how he uses on daily & tested this one & likes it so much he wants to take it to work with him.

As a homeschool mom I actually with my kids used it for a class project seeing how the temp changes low to high in a room & showing that heat really does rise, or how much the temp goes up near a light bulb. We also used it before & after rubbing hands together (friction) & this gun worked great & made class interesting. I have to say I can see it getting used a lot, plus I will be recommending it to other homeschool moms.

It would also make a great gift idea. As a funny idea watch out cats dig the red laser light & will chase it, its funny you can get their temperature & they can play. We will be using it for more class projects & learning the difference in celsius or fahrenheit since it offers both options. I also used it to find the hot spots in my older fridge so maybe the kids will stop putting the milk & cheese in them.
