I got these as a gift for a friend & I am no guitar pick professional so I turned to him to tell me if they were good or not. I even got some pictures of the picks in use. He explained the difference of picks to me, the feel, texture, thickness etc & why he prefers to use a pick. It all really was interesting & pretty much reminded me how much I wish I could play guitar.
The picks are a nice thickness, not to thin, not to thick & work well for playing whole sets, they are a striking black with the logo on them. So these picks made the perfect gift for my friend & he is happy with them so that is what counts. They brought a big smile to his face & he will be using them when he jams out.
He intends to use them a bit more & give me an update & I will add that update here when he does, a review from someone who knows picks 🙂
Ok… Review time. How exactly does one review something like a guitar pick? It seems impossible to contemplate… This seemingly unimportant thin piece of material is a direct link between you and the instrument that is your voice. The sound of your soul, of your heart, of who you are. In my time as a guitar player I have played picks of all shapes, sizes, and materials. I can say with all honesty that while I, as a general rule, prefer a pick that’s a little heavier than the one I was given to review, I liked the overall feel of these picks. While light, they aren’t flimsy. The attack is clear and defined, percussive, but not too sharp. And the feel of the pick in my fingers provided more than adequate grip to serve as a comfortable bridge between my fingers and the instrument that is my voice. And while there remains much room for picks of different materials in my arsenal, I will, for a certainty, use these picks with confidence whenever I pick up my guitar. Thanks again, and color this guitar player, a happy man!
