I wanted a second salt & pepper grinder & this 2 in 1 Salt and Pepper Grinder by Inspired KitchenWare is sturdy & heavy duty. I thought it looked identical to the other one I have that I got just a while back but I was pleasantly surprised that there were differences.
I wanted another pepper salt grinder combo because I have gray salt & whole black pepper in my other one now, so I wanted another for pink Himalayan salt & whole white pepper. This one by Inspired KitchenWare arrived & I easily un screwed the ends & filled it, I then tested each end & it grinds beautifully. So I sat it next to my other grinder & it is slightly bigger around & almost an inch taller than my other one. It also has that better like brushed/polished stainless steel look. We have dropped it & used it daily & it has stood up to the abuse.
When it comes to salt grinders, pepper grinders & combo grinders I have had so many, I have tried out a lot to get just what I want. I prefer to grind my pepper for sure for better taste & I like to grind both black pepper & white pepper. I totally must grind my natural salts as well for better mineral content & we really love pink Himalayan salt.
This 2 in 1 grinder is dual action easy using, so easy even my younger kids use it just fine. There are removable caps on each end to prevent moisture & you also remove the cap to adjust the grinding size from course to fine. It is stainless steel with a clear middle so you can see how much you have in the grinder & when it needs to be refilled. Really this grinder is durable & good quality & is worth a few extra dollars.
