Review: Bella Organics Vanilla Mint Deodorant Cream

When it comes to deodorant we usually make our own, so if we are going to use a pre-made one it has to be chemical free, aluminum free, organic & natural. This cream deodorant by Bella Organics is all these things plus it has a great scent. I was only sent a sample size when I do prefer to really use a larger size so my girls & myself can all use it to give the results from each of us, but I only had enough for me to give it a try. IMG_7147

The freshness of the vanilla mint hits you the second you unscrew the lid. The creamy texture comes from the combo of using shea butter, arrowroot & baking soda to create the base deodorant. The baking soda & arrowroot literally absorb odor, wick moisture & prevent odor. The shea butter is a great carrier & leaves skin soft. It also has sunflower oil & coconut oil in it both great at killing bacteria that leads to body odor plus they are great for skin. It also has tea tree oil in it that is anti fungal, anti bacterial etc & really mixes well with the peppermint essential oil & vanilla extract.

I found this to work well, but I have been used to natural deodorants forever so I do not go through the detox of switching like some of you might. So no extra sweating etc from switching. I did find I had to reapply a couple times on some hot days we had, but thats more me than the deodorant, I was making sure I did not start stinking. It did seem to hold up well & went on smooth no irritation.
