Francois et Mimi Single Wall Borosilicate Glass French Coffee Press.
Elegant Chrome Finish – Holds 1500ml, or 50oz – Dishwasher Safe – Micro-Mesh Filter – Works great with coarse-ground coffee or tea leaves.
If you are like me I like to drink healthy hot beverages, I either use organic coffee beans I grind myself, natural coffee substitutes or loose leaf teas when possible. I also love using a French press & turning my warm creations into a healing, healthy boost for my immune system by making them Bulletproof.
What is bulletproof coffee or tea you might ask? It is adding healthy fats that are good for immune system & brain health to quality warm beverages. As a matter of fact if you search my other blog you will find several post on how I personally make bulletproof drinks here.
This is a larger French Press of 50oz & it is great for a Saturday lazy day or for gatherings & parties. It is made well & is easy to use. None of the grounds or tea escape into to get into your cup (at least not for me), above all it steeps the beverages to perfection. It is easy to clean & use, the glass handle very hot water no issues, this french press is not made for heating on hot surfaces only for adding hot water to it. Also keep in mind if the 50oz is to big for you they do sell smaller versions if needed just select either 12oz, 34oz or the 50oz before adding to cart.
I like to add about a cup of hot water to get the French press warm, then I add either coffee grounds (medium grind), my tea or my instant natural coffee substitute. Then after several minutes I add more hot water & then insert press & secure lid pushing down the coffee or tea. Then I wait while it steeps. Even though my natural substitutes are instant I still like to use them in the press because the process really does bring out the flavor. To heat the water I use good quality filtered water or spring water & my handy dandy whistling tea pot.
Once the hot beverage is ready I add to my coffee mug, add sweetener of choice (Organic whole unbleached sugar, Yacon syrup or raw honey). Next I add raw coconut oil (always for me raw coconut oil), & add black seed oil, add milk of coice & whip it up with my hand held frother. Give it a try, you will like it, & do not feel pressured to run out & buy everything needed, start small with what you have on hand, such as the coffee or tea you have now, if all you have is regular butter not grass-fed start with it, try real olive oil, & then makes changes & see how you like each taste.
