Colloidal silver

I have used colloidal silver off and on for over 20 years, but it was always made by a company till about 4 years ago I started getting it from a friend who generated her own, that sent me researching to find the best, most effective & safest generator I could find in my price range. spray bottleI found that the issues most people have with colloidal silver (getting blue/gray skin being one) come from making it improperly & improperly using it also from using crude generators & from using home generated colloidal silver with a large particle size the body can not use. Silver edge colloidal silver generatorFirst I must say I already loved colloidal silver before buying the Silver Edge generator, but I for sure could not wait to get this generator & see if there was a difference, & oh boy I went from loving colloidal silver to in total amazement of colloidal silver, & since we can make a QT so cheaply I expanded the way I use it. Check out my other blog post “My purse is a total mini natural health pharmacy on my shoulder” where I say how great colloidal silver is.

I did use colloidal silver in my cancer treatment 3 years ago & I did get some made with a Silver Edge generator at the time as well, but I had no idea till after how good colloidal silver was for cancer, maybe that’s part of why I did so well.

But back to my generator, it arrived speedy, they ship fast, it comes with a timer so that saying “set it & forget it” comes to mind 🙂

I made my first 10 PPM batch without a hitch & if I had an issue they offer a video to help. Let me tell you having colloidal silver in our home has very fast moved to the top 10 most used items that we use for everything.

When taking for health put under your tongue & hold for a minute then swish in your mouth a minute & swallow, also do not store or put in plastic, use dark glass bottles/jars or a glass spray bottlebottle/jar kept in a dark cupboard or sit jar in a brown paper bag etc.

Ways we use Colloidal silver other than for health, with baking soda to wash our face, exfoliate, to spray hair, in shampoo recipes, in cleaners, to repel roaches, to spray face & skin as a moisturizer & prevent acne, pimples & blackheads, spritzed on foods & drinks as we put them away to keep fresh longer, to wash fruits & veges , in eyes for allergy eyes, pink eye,in our water to purify it, deodorant, mixed with clay powder  in a mask, in dishwasher & dish water, in laundry, in bath water, in our animals water & on their fur & for sores Etc , ETC & etc oh & ETC.

I recently also mentioned using colloidal silver to preserve rosewater & plantain water as well.

As I said we do take it for health, it’s a must for building the immune system , have you ever thought about rather our bodies could actually be deficient in silver? here are a few great articles that cover that topic, Article 1 and Article 2.

It is the best for colds & flus taken in a nebulizer & we spray our AC/heat filter & hepa filter with it.

In closing I love my generator & want to get a generator for family that lives in another state, I also share my home generated Colloidal silver with local friends & family, I highly recommend this generator for ease of use & an awesome product, I have gone just over a year on my original wires that came with the generator & I use it 1 to 2 times a week, I just ordered more wires from www.thesilveredge.com just to be ready when the ones I have are no longer working.

If you have been a fan of mine very long then you know I use essential oils a lot in my DIY products, cleaning, laundry, bath & body etc.
Not only are EO’s great additions they can also lift your mood, energize you even make you feel better all while being healthy & giving your house a great natural scent
There is no doubt I love EO’s (just ask my friends, since I might say too much sometimes) but when asked what brand I use I have not been stuck on any one brand. I just buy what I can find at a good price & a quality product.
Then a few weeks ago I was offered some essential oils from a company I had kinda heard of, so I was interested & checked it out.

So I have researched & tried them & we do love them

I will be including pictures to show you how I used each (6 total) in Our DIY products

At first I thought this would be a challenge since I have rarely used blends & the set I received are blends, but I love being challenged.

And once reading what oils were in the blends & smelling them I knew right away what to use each scent for

Any of the 6 could be added to cleaners, laundry, room deodorizer & even a soaking bath

But here is how we used each so we could see how well these EO’s worked

  • Immune Aid~ was used in a soaking bath with baking soda & Epsom Salt
  • Germ fighter~ we added to our multi-purpose cleaner (Thieves)
  • Sensual~ was added to mist deodorant for the men
  • Energy~ was added to the mist deodorant for the ladies
  • Tranquil~ we mixed with coconut oil & rubbed on feet & arms like a scented moisturizer
  • Relax~ was mixed with coconut oil & baking soda in a paste for a face moisturizing relaxing mask

My top 5 used essential oils are used daily in our cleaning products, bath & body products, Teeth Products, hair Products & laundry products (all DIY)

  • Eucalyptus
  • Peppermint
  • Lemon
  • Tea Tree oil
  • Lavender

And as an added plus the set also includes other favorite Essential oils that I normally can not afford to get, but we do like to use from time to time

  • Orange
  • Grapefruit
  • Lime
  • Spearmint
  • Cinnamon Bark
  • Rosemary

And even better it includes a few I would not consider buying but I am enjoying using

  • Bergamot
  • Clary Sage
  • Patchouli

And all in one set at a better price than I can normally buy my top 5 favorite essential oils

I have to say Plant Therapy’s Essential oils are great quality, we love them, I have no issues recommending them & will be buying more essential oils in the future, we live on a tight budget & I can only order my essential oils once a year, thankfully Plant Therapy’s sets make it so much easier & cost effective

And they also offer a line of Organic Essential oils & a whole Line of Synergy oil blends to suit your needs along with Carrier oils, diffuser, cases etc

So from now on when someone asks me to recommend a essential oil brand I will be directing them to Plant Therapy

I rate them 5 star in quality

I have tried many many brands of essential oils from high cost companies to made fresh & these are as good as any of the high cost brands & even better is they are affordable, essential oils do not have to cost so much to be quality

We hope next to buy a diffuser, but for now I add them to my cleaners, to my mist spray bottles, to our baths etc
